Xinlin (xinleh) was born in Beijing and grew up in Singapore. Her illustrations seek to capture the mystery and fantasy with childhood, and the ordinariness of everyday life filled with magic. She is inspired by the landscape of Singapore and Southeast Asia, and the old nostalgic illustrations of French vintage, and the films of Georges Melies.
In her free time, she loves to play the piano, read books and watch movies.
